Pictures From Spring Valley
Chicken Hilton
This is a picture of our chicken pens. It includes coops for the younger chicks on the left, and they have their own door into the shed-turned-chickenhouse. On the right, the grown hens have coops and a large fenced-in yard. It seems that do-it-yourself animal operations can sometimes resemble junkyards. I'm not sure why people think that!
Is that red wagon turned upside-down? Your chickens must not be very good drivers.
ReplyDeleteBet they're wishing for air conditioning!
ReplyDeleteA lot of ingenuity there--and nice angle for the picture.
ReplyDeleteI like that cute little gate. It looks like it might be part of an old skid.
ReplyDeleteI guess those chickens might never make it if they were put in an egg factory!
ReplyDeleteI'd say the whole layout looks as if someone put it together over a long period of time with a lot of thought and ingenuity.
