Rhodes Tower: LeVeque Tower

Around Ohio

West of the Rhodes Tower sits another tall buildingthe LeVeque Tower. Built in 1927, it was the tallest building in Columbus until the completion of the Rhodes Tower. The upper part of the terra-cotta-tiled building is visible in this photo, just in front of the river.

Another interesting building, actually still under construction, was this one. I am not quite sure what those enormous cement columns are for. Maybe elevator shafts?

What sharp pictures - especially the tiny construction equipment!

Wow, the LeVeque Tower has some pretty complicated architecture. I like the little yellow backhoe.
